About the Role
You will shape strategy for preventing and treating Alzheimer’s, identify and evaluate funding opportunities, conduct diligence, and recommend grants. You will build relationships across research and AI-for-science communities and prepare briefs and recommendations to support decisions.
Requirements
- Have 10 to 15 or more years of relevant experience
- Have experience in Alzheimer’s research, neuroscience, neurology, biotechnology, translational medicine, or life-sciences investing
- Understand AI applications for Alzheimer’s research
- Evaluate scientific, technical, or organizational opportunities
- Engage credibly with external experts, institutions, and senior stakeholders
- Communicate complex information clearly and persuasively
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to accelerate Alzheimer’s prevention and treatment
- Shape strategy and prioritize opportunities
- Source, evaluate, and recommend grants and funding opportunities
- Conduct diligence on organizations, projects, and leaders
- Engage researchers, nonprofits, public health organizations, startups, academic centers, funders, and grantee organizations
- Build relationships across Alzheimer’s research and AI for science
- Prepare internal briefs, recommendations, and memos
