About BNB Chain
BNB Chain is an open, permissionless blockchain ecosystem for building Web3 apps. It includes BNB Smart Chain (EVM L1), opBNB (L2), and BNB Greenfield for decentralized storage, all powered by the BNB token. The network rebranded from Binance Chain/Smart Chain to BNB Chain in 2022, and in 2024 migrated Beacon Chain staking/governance to BSC as part of the BNB Chain Fusion.

About the Role
You will define BNB Chain's AI strategy and build partnerships and developer relationships that position the network as infrastructure for AI agents operating in financial markets. You will develop AI and blockchain standards, onboard AI-native projects, coordinate with product and engineering teams on developer tooling and infrastructure compatibility, represent AI strategy publicly, assess competing strategies, and develop a thesis for agentic finance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in AI, venture investment, or blockchain ecosystem development
- At least 2 years of leadership or strategy experience
- Deep understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
- Understanding of function calling, MCP execution frameworks, agent wallet architecture, and autonomous financial infrastructure
- Existing relationships with AI developer communities, AI labs, decentralized compute networks, and agentic payments platforms
- Track record of identifying and closing strategic ecosystem partnerships
- Ability to communicate an AI thesis to developers, institutions, and policymakers
- Original thinking about the intersection of AI and on-chain finance
Responsibilities
- Define and own BNB Chain's AI strategy
- Identify opportunities at the intersection of AI and on-chain finance
- Build relationships with AI labs, agent framework developers, agentic payments platforms, and decentralized compute networks
- Drive participation in AI and blockchain standards
- Identify and onboard AI-native projects
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams on AI-compatible tooling and infrastructure
- Serve as the public voice on AI strategy
- Monitor competing AI strategies
- Define priorities for agentic finance use cases and infrastructure
