About the Role
You will design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade AI systems that automate workflows, augment decision-making, and support engineering. You will evaluate models, create evaluation frameworks, develop resilient distributed systems, and continuously improve production AI products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Extensive production experience developing applications in Python
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, distributed systems, testing, and scalable resilient applications
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating production LLM applications
- Knowledge of model evaluation, prompt engineering, tool calling, context management, agent orchestration, and common failure modes
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks and using quantitative metrics
- Experience integrating AI systems with external tools, APIs, Model Context Protocol, and modern AI application frameworks
- Experience building highly reliable production systems
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems and products
- Evaluate foundation models, agent architectures, and AI workflows
- Define success metrics and build evaluation frameworks and benchmarking tools
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable technical solutions
- Design resilient distributed AI systems
- Prototype and experiment with emerging models, tools, and workflows
- Partner with trading, research, and business teams to understand user needs
- Deliver maintainable software through testing and code reviews
- Operate, monitor, and continuously improve production AI systems
- Optimize AI quality, reliability, latency, cost efficiency, governance, and user outcomes
