About the Role
You will validate custom automotive PCBs through board-level testing, prototype characterization, and lab automation. You will analyze and document results, support board bring-up and root-cause analysis, follow OEM protocols, and maintain reusable lab infrastructure.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree
- 2–6 years of board-level testing and validation experience
- Experience using lab test equipment
- Familiarity with thermal, structural, and electrical stress testing
- Experience with Python, LabView, or similar test automation tools
- Familiarity with vehicle or consumer-electronics validation flows
- Experience reading schematics and debugging at component level
Responsibilities
- Execute and improve validation test plans for custom automotive PCBs
- Characterize board performance using lab equipment
- Automate lab equipment and test routines using Python or similar scripting languages
- Analyze and document test results for internal teams and customers
- Support board bring-up and root-cause analysis with engineering teams
- Interpret and follow OEM test protocols
- Maintain lab setups and improve test efficiency
