About the Role
You will design and develop precise, reliable, and manufacturable robotic mechanisms. You will create CAD models and production documentation, prototype parts, support mechatronic assembly and wiring, test and commission robotic systems, and troubleshoot mechanical issues during development and production.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, prototyping, and electrical wiring
- Workshop skills in 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and drill-press operation
- Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, tolerances, and manufacturability
- English fluency
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer installations and support
- Degree or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex robotic mechanisms
- Create CAD models, technical drawings, and assembly documentation
- Prototype mechanical parts using 3D printing and workshop tools
- Support assembly and integration of mechatronic systems
- Conduct testing and commissioning of robotic systems
- Collaborate on system integration with electrical, software, and manufacturing functions
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during development and production
- Stay current with robotics and mechanical-design practices
- Work autonomously on evolving tasks
