About the Role
Diagnose and repair GPU server failures, support hardware testing and qualification, manage vendor support tickets, maintain inventories and hardware records, assist with server racking and cabling, document resolutions, and provide occasional after-hours support.
Requirements
- Significant experience diagnosing and repairing air- and liquid-cooled GPU-based servers
- Deep understanding of server hardware, BMC manageability, BIOS settings, and firmware deployment
- 4+ years of hands-on data center experience
- Familiarity with InfiniBand switches and network topology
- Basic Linux system administration expertise
- Associates degree or equivalent IT-related experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills
- HPC technology experience is a bonus
- CompTIA Server+ or CCNA certification is a bonus
- Python or Bash scripting experience is a bonus
- DCIM tools experience is a bonus
- Liquid cooling experience is a bonus
- Ability to work in a physically challenging environment and lift 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve GPU server hardware failures
- Support hardware burn-in, stress testing, and qualification
- Open and manage hardware vendor support tickets
- Maintain the hardware issue tracker
- Maintain and replenish spare inventories
- Assist with server racking and cabling
- Document hardware issues and resolutions
- Provide occasional after-hours support
