About the Role
You will author global security operations policies, incident protocols, playbooks, service levels, and communication templates. You will establish an on-call rotation and call tree, secure stakeholder approval, train users, and support live incident response. You will coordinate incident-command handoffs, partner with crisis management, run reviews and exercises, and continuously improve the program.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security operations, emergency or crisis management, business continuity, incident command, or a related discipline
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Experience authoring formally approved security, safety, or emergency-response policy
- Incident Commander or equivalent live-incident command experience
- Knowledge of ISO 22320:2018, ICS/NIMS, or equivalent incident-command systems
- Knowledge of severity or tiering frameworks
- Clear writing for operators, business partners, and executives
- Ability to manage document-heavy programs while supporting live incidents
- Availability for 24/7 on-call rotation and after-hours response
Responsibilities
- Author GSOC policies, functions, severity matrices, communication templates, and response service levels
- Design global incident and event response protocols and playbooks
- Define incident-response tooling, channels, and employee-advisory paths
- Align notification thresholds with Legal, Communications, HR, and Employee Relations
- Design an on-call rotation and call tree for incident response
- Secure senior leadership approval and socialize policy
- Deliver policy training and rollout
- Assist with incident response and coordinate Incident Commander handoffs
- Liaise between GSOC and Crisis Management
- Run after-action reviews and tabletop exercises
- Measure adherence to standards and report results
