About the Role

You will set the long-term direction for core services covering trading, custody, wallets, identity, and internal tooling. You will coordinate product priorities, promote reusable platform capabilities, manage product managers, plan organizational growth, strengthen observability, oversee post-incident processes, and ensure security, privacy, auditability, and compliance requirements are addressed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Product line ownership experience in fintech crypto trading or another regulated space
  • Knowledge of problem discovery roadmapping user story writing prioritization data analysis and funnel optimization
  • Experience managing product managers
  • Experience hiring and coaching a team
  • Experience setting the direction for a platform or shared-services roadmap
  • Strong understanding of business models unit economics and revenue streams
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance user needs with business and regulatory constraints
  • Experience with Agile development Scrum and Kanban
  • Familiarity with Cryptocurrency Web3 and TradFi ecosystems and regulatory changes

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and strategic direction for core services
  • Coordinate core service requirements with product managers and commercial stakeholders
  • Set migration and scaling priorities for core services
  • Promote reusable platform capabilities
  • Manage trade-offs between infrastructure work and product roadmaps
  • Manage product managers through goal setting one-on-ones and performance management
  • Hire and coach product managers
  • Drive headcount planning and organizational development
  • Improve product management practices and PRD quality
  • Build observability through metrics dashboards and alerting
  • Set security and reliability standards
  • Own post-incident processes and postmortems
  • Ensure security privacy auditability and compliance requirements are prioritized
