About the Role
You will grow fandom in Greater China by planning and operating offline events, creating market-specific merchandise, and running fan-focused social media campaigns through local platforms and communities. You will collaborate with local partners and agencies, and plan and execute fan initiatives involving illustrations, collaborations, and other content.
Requirements
- Have 5 or more years of experience leading event planning and operations.
- Have experience in fandom-based businesses or agencies in gaming, IT, or content.
- Derive fandom-focused insights from a target audience perspective and apply them to work.
- Communicate in Chinese at a business level, including reading, writing, and speaking, for local partner collaboration and content creation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and operate offline events to grow fandom in Greater China.
- Plan and produce targeted merchandise for users in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
- Plan fan-focused social media events through local platforms and communities, including Bilibili and WeChat.
- Collaborate and form partnerships with local partners and agencies.
- Plan and execute Greater China fan initiatives involving illustrations and collaborations.
