About the Role
Build and maintain Tenki’s core infrastructure, including ConnectRPC services, a programmable microservices fabric, Ory identity services, DDoS mitigation, immutable infrastructure, monitoring, error boundaries, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Proficient in Golang with deep experience building high-performance concurrent applications
- Strong experience architecting and maintaining gRPC services; ConnectRPC is a bonus
- Experience with Ory or similar OIDC/OAuth2 identity providers
- Understanding of overlay networking and service mesh
- Experience implementing DDoS mitigation strategies
- Experience designing immutable infrastructure
- Experience writing Engineering Requirement Documents and technical plans
- Experience building monitoring, defining error boundaries, and documenting operational expectations
- Ability to work reliably within core time zones in LATAM (GMT-3) or the Philippines (GMT+8)
- Comfortable communicating in English
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain core gRPC API services using ConnectRPC
- Design and operate a private programmable microservices fabric
- Manage identity services using the Ory stack: Kratos, Keto, and Hydra
- Develop DDoS mitigation strategies
- Build high-performance Golang gRPC services at massive scale
- Implement immutable infrastructure for tear-down, failover, and reconstruction
- Write Engineering Requirement Documents and translate concepts into actionable plans
- Collaborate with Applications and Platform teams to expose robust APIs
- Build monitoring, define error boundaries, and document operational expectations
