Requirements
- Ten or more years of experience in venture capital, ecosystem leadership, company building or scaling, product, or growth
- Bay Area network among founders, investors, and operators
- Knowledge of crypto, Solana, AI, and machine learning
- Capital-allocation judgment
- Experience communicating and closing with senior stakeholders
- Full-time presence in the San Francisco Bay Area
Responsibilities
- Set regional strategy and own Bay Area outcomes
- Manage a dedicated budget and make funding decisions
- Build relationships across AI, ML, startup, research, and infrastructure communities
- Convert AI and crypto opportunities into projects
- Identify and activate founders and developers
- Build relationships with VCs, accelerators, and incubators
- Set regional event strategy
- Forge partnerships across AI, fintech, and consumer technology
- Represent the region with investors, founders, and press
- Provide market intelligence to global leadership
