About the Role

You will define the platform vision, architecture, and multi-year roadmap for financial operations. You will establish ledger, settlement, reconciliation, exception-management, and control capabilities; lead delivery and migrations; and coordinate operational readiness across relevant functions.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of experience in fintech, financial services, digital assets, brokerage, custody, payments, or capital-markets technology
  • Five or more years of product management, platform leadership, technical program leadership, or comparable engineering experience
  • Experience delivering a ledger, reconciliation platform, settlement system, payments infrastructure, brokerage books-and-records platform, or digital-asset back office
  • Understanding of transaction lifecycles, balances, positions, journal entries, reconciliation, and financial controls
  • Technical fluency with APIs, event-driven systems, data schemas, batch and streaming pipelines, integrations, idempotency, and failure handling
  • Ability to work with transaction-level data
  • Strong written communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Define the financial operations platform strategy and multi-year roadmap
  • Establish canonical transaction and financial-event models
  • Define ledger, subledger, settlement, and reconciliation capabilities
  • Design automated reconciliation and exception-management workflows
  • Build operational tooling, controls, audit trails, monitoring, and alerting
  • Lead discovery, requirements, prioritization, testing, rollout, and post-launch improvement
  • Coordinate data migration, backfilling, and parallel-run validation
  • Communicate roadmap priorities, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior management
