About the Role
You will own cash accounting, accrual processes, and related accounting functions. You will review and reconcile cash transactions, reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, coordinate with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams, support monthly accruals, and assist with external audits and due diligence requests.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Knowledge of cash accounting, accrual processes, internal controls, and accounting best practices
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of data
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excel proficiency
Responsibilities
- Review cash transactions and ensure cash entries and accounts are complete
- Perform monthly general ledger to bank statement cash reconciliations
- Reconcile sub-ledgers and systems to the general ledger
- Coordinate with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams
- Identify and accurately record complex accounting transactions
- Work with the Tax Team on direct and indirect monthly accruals
- Support external audits and due diligence requests
