About the Role
You post journal entries, monitor the accuracy of accounting records and balances, reconcile bank statements and related transactions against the general ledger, investigate discrepancies, assist with management reports, perform year-end closure, support audits and prepare and file tax declarations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of accounting experience
- Degree in accounting, finance or economics
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Attention to detail
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with ERP and automated accounting systems
- SAP experience
Responsibilities
- Post journal entries in the accounting system
- Monitor the accuracy and validity of journal entries and balances
- Reconcile bank statements and transactions against the general ledger
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with monthly management reports
- Perform year-end accounting closure
- Assist with annual and interim financial audits
- Support the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual tax declarations
- Liaise with finance, payments and treasury teams
