About the Role

You will join the Fund Management team responsible for the full investment life cycle, from establishing and funding LLCs through completing target investments, handling day-to-day fund accounting, preparing periodic reports and tax forms, managing investment exits, and closing funds. You'll help maintain over 800 venture funds, prepare investor notices, process payments, maintain key databases, and collaborate with compliance, operations, and executive leadership to ensure the funds meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
  • At least one year of work experience, preferably within the financial industry
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen eye for details to identify trends, cause and effects
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
  • Strategic thinker focused on continuous improvement
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Proficiency with Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the establishment and maintenance of over 800 Venture Funds
  • Prepare investor notices, including capital call, fee, and distribution notices
  • Process outgoing and incoming payments
  • Maintain key databases to fulfill ad-hoc requests for Fund and investor data
  • Participate on special projects related to the fund
  • Assist in the preparation of applicable tax forms (e.g., Form 1065)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds' specifications
  • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and executive leadership teams to meet all requirements to the highest standards of quality
