Its current public product is the Points Exchange Infrastructure (PEI), marketed for API, Shopify, no-code, and customer-portal integrations.

About the Role
You will own features across backend services, partner-facing APIs, money-adjacent ledger systems, and React dashboards. You will design, build, deploy, monitor, document, and improve Elixir services and frontend functionality while using AI coding tools and collaborating on infrastructure, security, and system correctness.
Requirements
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar daily
- Have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years in backend engineering
- Have 3+ years of production experience with Elixir, Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP
- Demonstrate strong PostgreSQL, SQL, transaction semantics, and performance-tuning skills
- Demonstrate REST API design and background job processing experience
- Have experience in loyalty, travel technology, payments, or FinTech
- Have 3+ years of React and TypeScript experience
- Know AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions
- Be fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Elixir services using Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP
- Build and evolve partner-facing REST APIs with versioning, outbound webhooks, and delivery guarantees
- Develop money-adjacent ledger, points-balance, settlement, and reconciliation systems
- Own React and TypeScript frontend features end to end
- Use AI coding agents and review their output
- Review code and validate system correctness
- Write PR descriptions, architecture notes, and updated documentation
- Collaborate on deployment, monitoring, and security on AWS
