About the Role
You will investigate complex fraud cases, coordinate containment during live attacks, and strengthen detection controls. You will build and tune fraud rules, backtest and monitor their performance, create AI-powered automation, document cases, and partner on scalable fraud-prevention solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of fraud detection, prevention, and investigation experience
- Experience leading complex fraud investigations through remediation
- Experience building, implementing, tuning, and backtesting fraud detection rules
- Knowledge of fraud typologies, attack vectors, and crypto and digital-payments fraud trends
- Data analysis experience with SQL, Excel, or BI tools
- Risk assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Experience using AI and machine-learning tools in fraud, risk, investigations, or operations
Responsibilities
- Monitor fraud signals and emerging threats
- Conduct threat hunting to uncover missed fraud
- Identify detection gaps and strengthen fraud prevention
- Command incident response during live fraud attacks
- Lead complex fraud investigations and root-cause analysis
- Execute containment actions such as blocks, freezes, and restrictions
- Build, implement, backtest, and tune fraud detection rules
- Monitor rule performance and manage false-decline rates
- Build and quality-assure AI-powered agents and automation workflows
- Document fraud cases accurately and provide reporting
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, ML, and Compliance on fraud mitigation
