About the Role
You will lead the day-to-day work of an engineering team while personally developing and testing FPGA code. You will architect and optimize FPGA solutions, manage project resources and reviews, evaluate technical proposals, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and technical commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience implementing complex high-speed FPGA designs
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
- Experience with FPGA design, integration, and test
- Experience with Xilinx and Microsemi RTG4 platforms preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Person status for export-control eligibility
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test FPGA designs for space communication systems
- Architect and implement FPGA solutions against requirements
- Optimize FPGA designs for speed, performance, and resource utilization
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the engineering team
- Manage project execution and engineering resource allocation
- Support design and development reviews and documentation
- Participate in proposals and trade studies
- Review contracts, proposals, statements of work, and technical requirements
