About the Role
You will operate masonry robots on an on-site construction pilot in San Antonio. You will set up and calibrate equipment, supply the robot with materials, monitor build quality, troubleshoot issues, and keep the site clean. You will work with engineers and contractors, record field feedback, and explain the system to site crews. Training begins in Amsterdam before you support the US pilot.
Requirements
- Good spoken and written English
- Willingness to learn how machines work
- Ability to perform manual work, including carrying bricks and mortar
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Ability to spend the day on your feet
Responsibilities
- Operate masonry robots on construction sites
- Set up equipment, place markers, and calibrate the robot
- Carry bricks and mortar and keep the robot supplied
- Monitor wall quality during construction
- Troubleshoot on-site equipment and robot issues
- Escalate issues to engineers when needed
- Record feedback from the pilot to improve hardware and software
- Clean the site and prepare equipment for the next shift
- Review build plans and site conditions
- Explain the system to contractors and site crews
