About the Role
You will support cryptocurrency investigations, research financial-crime cases, analyze data, and document findings in clear reports. You will prepare recommendations and follow-up leads, present investigative findings, help assess evidence and data collection, and contribute to English- and Spanish-language workshops and training materials.
Requirements
- Degree in cybersecurity, criminal justice, intelligence, forensic accounting, data analytics, finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience in financial crime investigations, intelligence analysis, law enforcement, compliance, or a related analytical role
- Research skills using open-source intelligence and public or private databases
- Interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively
- Based in Mexico City or willing to relocate
Responsibilities
- Support complex cryptocurrency investigations with senior team members and cross-functional partners
- Conduct research and data analysis on cryptocurrency-related financial-crime cases
- Document investigative findings in clear reports
- Present investigative findings to team members and customers
- Review investigation completeness and data collection methods to assess evidence
- Prepare summaries with recommendations, follow-up leads, and investigation risks
- Contribute to workshops and training materials in English and Spanish
- Represent the mission of bringing trust to blockchains with regional customers and partners
