About the Role
You will build, develop, and lead a Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will work directly with customers to understand workflows and solve technical problems across frontend, backend, and AI systems. You will design, prototype, and ship solutions, guide projects from discovery through iteration, set engineering standards, and turn deployment insights into platform improvements.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering, technical architecture, and customer-facing engineering experience
- Experience leading and developing technical teams
- Hands-on software engineering experience
- Full-stack engineering fundamentals
- React and TypeScript experience
- Backend development experience
- Distributed systems knowledge
- Experience owning complex technical engagements
- Product intuition and user collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows and technical problems
- Design, prototype, and implement solutions
- Guide projects from discovery and architecture through shipping and iteration
- Set the technical bar through architecture decisions, code reviews, and hands-on engineering
- Translate customer deployment insights into platform improvements
- Shape engineering standards, rituals, and playbooks
- Contribute to product strategy, technical decisions, and cultural foundations
