About the Role
You will plan, execute, and document flight tests and operational missions. You will inspect aircraft before and after flights, operate them safely under FAA regulations, support testing and readiness reviews, troubleshoot field issues, and improve procedures and training materials.
Requirements
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Commercial non-DJI drone flying experience
- Knowledge of airspace, flight safety, and regulations
- Situational awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt in dynamic flight environments
- Current FAA Third Class Medical or ability to obtain one
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent residency, or eligibility under applicable export control regulations
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document flight tests and operational missions
- Conduct preflight and postflight inspections and ensure FAA compliance
- Operate aircraft safely across mission profiles and conditions
- Support vehicle testing, system validation, and operational readiness reviews
- Troubleshoot field issues and collaborate with engineering on improvements
- Contribute to training materials, flight procedures, and operational best practices
