About the Role
You will build and lead the fleet function, manage vehicle and driver allocations, and establish scalable operating processes. You will oversee maintenance, budgets, vendors, compliance, KPIs, risk mitigation, and long-term fleet planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, transport management, operations, business administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of progressive fleet, transport, or large-scale operations management experience
- Fluency in French and preferably good English
- Experience managing drivers and external service providers
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and compliance documentation
- Budget administration and vendor contract management skills
- Operational process development skills
- KPI analysis skills
- Stakeholder communication and negotiation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the fleet department
- Design standardized operational protocols
- Manage daily vehicle and driver allocations
- Maximize fleet availability through resource planning
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
- Monitor driver performance and safety compliance
- Manage relationships with garages, dealerships, and insurers
- Administer fleet budgets and optimize costs
- Establish and monitor fleet KPIs
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws and safety regulations
- Forecast fleet requirements and support procurement planning
- Identify and mitigate fleet risks
- Coach and develop the fleet team
