About the Role
You will manage and optimize cloud costs across multi-cloud environments. You will design cost models, implement tagging and allocation strategies, forecast budgets, investigate anomalies, build chargeback models and dashboards, analyze billing data, and protect cost efficiency through architecture changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud costs across multi-cloud environments
- Perform cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, anomaly detection, and cost governance
- Execute Inform, Optimize, and Operate FinOps lifecycle activities
- Design cost models and implement tagging and allocation strategies
- Optimize rates through reserved instances, savings plans, and committed-use discounts
- Investigate cost anomalies, budget variances, and inefficient cloud resources
- Build showback and chargeback models, dashboards, and verification strategies
- Design and implement systems for cloud billing and usage-data aggregation and analysis
- Use forecasting models and scenario analysis to prevent cost-efficiency regressions
- Communicate cost trends and savings opportunities to stakeholders
