About the Role
You will prepare or assist with financial regulatory reports for a broker dealer. You will support month-end accounting close activities prepare accounting entries and reconciliations produce financial reports and assemble data for daily regulatory reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- At least 5 years of finance experience at a bank or broker dealer
- Deep knowledge of processes and controls for regulatory reporting
- Accounting experience at a financial institution
- Knowledge of accounting entries reconciliations and financial analysis
- Intermediate Excel and SQL knowledge
- Series 27 or Series 99 preferred and required within one year
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare or assist with financial regulatory reports including Reserve Computation and FOCUS reports
- Support the month-end accounting close process
- Prepare accounting entries reconciliations and financial reports
- Assemble data for daily regulatory reporting requirements
