About the Role

Lead Singapore financial regulatory reporting and financial operations, manage controls over cash and custody activities, reconcile ledger and security balances, monitor financial resources, submit MAS filings, and support system transitions with global teams.

Requirements

  • Understanding of MAS Risk-Based Capital frameworks.
  • Understanding of SF(LCB)R requirements.
  • Understanding of Singapore broker-dealer capital requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations or regulatory reporting in Singapore.
  • Broker-dealer or financial institution experience.
  • Experience with back-office ledger systems, Swift and API data feeds, and Excel or Google Sheets.
  • SQL or data visualization experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage regulatory deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage risk for back-office activities and maintain controls over customer and firm cash, suspense accounts, and exceptions.
  • Execute daily trust and custody computations.
  • Manage MT940 Swift messages and API pulls, extract ledger balances, and download trust bank and sub-custodian statements.
  • Reconcile security quantities and verify customer assets have no liens or encumbrances.
  • Monitor financial resources against Total Risk Requirement limits.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly MAS filings.
  • Partner with accounting, treasury, clearing, and engineering teams on system transitions and report automation.
  • Cross-train across global entity reporting.
