About the Role
You will review, clear, disposition, or escalate transaction-monitoring alerts and help prevent monitoring backlogs. You will progress into case investigations and SAR filings, analyze trends and false positives, recommend rule adjustments, prepare metrics and reports, draft case-investigation guidance, and support risk-assessment and compliance workstreams.
Requirements
- Exceptional English
- Be based in New York or willing to relocate
- Be able to start in October or November
- Have experience with data and trend analysis
- Have experience with AI implementation
- Financial understanding, ideally in an international high-risk environment
Responsibilities
- Review, clear, disposition, or escalate transaction-monitoring alerts
- Conduct case reviews and trend analysis
- Prepare compliance metrics and manage reports
- Recommend transaction-monitoring rule adjustments based on false-positive analysis
- Draft desktop guidance for case investigation
- Execute alert escalation, SLA adherence, and monitoring tuning
- Support risk-assessment and compliance workstreams
- Progress to case investigations and SAR filings
