About the Role
You will own monthly and annual closes across jurisdictions, maintain financial controls and compliance, oversee reconciliations and consolidation, support audits and filings, and improve NetSuite and finance processes.
Requirements
- Big 4 audit background or experience with Big 4 audits
- Experience in a fast-growing multi-country scale-up
- NetSuite experience
- IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks and financial compliance
- Experience using AI tools for finance processes
- Based in the Netherlands and able to travel to Eindhoven one to two days per week
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Own monthly and annual close processes across multiple jurisdictions
- Operate and strengthen the internal financial control framework
- Manage statutory, regulatory, tax-filing, and group-policy compliance
- Review finance-team output and resolve complex queries
- Support external audits and technical accounting memos
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and consolidation
- Support statutory filings and tax compliance
- Improve controls and processes for IPO readiness
- Own and optimise NetSuite, including entity and subsidiary setups
- Implement AI tools for finance processes, reporting, and analysis
- Support finance projects including country setups, manufacturing cost accounting, and system implementations
