About the Role

You will manage finance for chips and accelerators. You will own hardware economics and forecasts, evaluate capacity commitments, advise on hardware ROI, coordinate finance operations, and build and manage the Machines finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Own chip and accelerator capacity economics, including cost per chip-hour and total cost of ownership
  • Evaluate capacity offers and hardware commitments with the Compute deal team
  • Partner with Capacity Planning and Hardware Engineering on machine strategy analysis
  • Own hardware forecasts for delivery volumes, expenses, and cash flows
  • Build and manage the Machines finance team
  • Set the operating cadence with central FP&A and Accounting
  • Own machines FP&A during forecast and close cycles
  • Coordinate accounting treatment and forecast inputs with Accounting, Treasury, and Infrastructure FP&A
