About the Role

You will operate robotic welding systems, load and inspect assemblies, manage inventory, and maintain automation equipment. You will read technical drawings and schematics, service electrical and pneumatic equipment, integrate welding cells at customer sites, support customers, and coordinate troubleshooting with engineering.

Requirements

• Technical training, trade school certification, Associate degree in Engineering Technology, engineering degree, or related industry experience
• Experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
• Welding experience
• Fabrication or machine shop experience
• Comfort learning programming languages
• Experience working with small and fragile components

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-robotic welding systems
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies
• Monitor parts and completed-assembly inventory
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Record data for engineering issue resolution
• Monitor cell performance and part fit-up
• Read engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints
• Service pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes
• Operate Forge cells through command prompts and code changes
• Interface with customers to support equipment efficiency
• Coordinate with engineering to troubleshoot issues
• Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components
