About the Role
You will manage product rollouts and build a strong agent and merchant network on the ground. You will represent the company in the field, oversee distribution and marketing activations, and ensure services are accessible to communities. You will engage directly with users, agents, and merchants to gather feedback and inform local strategy. You will ensure agent quality and compliance, train agents on applications, contracts, rebalancing options, and fraud management, and collaborate with liquidity and BTL colleagues to monitor cash and float. You will perform routine visits to assess performance, report emerging issues, identify and close underperforming agents, recover company items and branding, and act as the primary contact for agency networks while championing excellent customer service. Expect extensive travel and work in fast-paced, sometimes challenging field conditions.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and French ideally with a good command of an additional local language
- 2–3 years of experience in field sales microfinance telecoms or fintech
- Experience working with informal merchants market vendors or agent networks is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone
- Comfortable working in fast-paced sometimes challenging field conditions
- High level of integrity and reliability
Responsibilities
- Ensure agent quality and compliance with legal and policy requirements
- Train agents on application use contract contents rebalancing options and fraud management
- Build and equip a branded agent network in collaboration with the BTL team
- Monitor cash and float availability with the agent liquidity team
- Conduct routine visits to assess agent performance and report emerging issues
- Identify and close underperforming agents recover company items and remove branding
- Serve as primary contact for agency networks acquiring products
- Champion excellent customer service among distributors and agents
- Oversee distribution and marketing activations
- Engage directly with users agents and merchants to gather feedback
