About the Role
You will diagnose and repair vehicle software and hardware faults on site, meet rapid response targets, and follow structured repair protocols. You will provide technical updates, participate in on-call support, maintain safety compliance, and identify improvements to field-engineering processes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, software and hardware fault triage, and repair processes.
- Ability to meet strict five-minute response SLAs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and incident management.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, Datadog, Mender, and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle software and hardware issues on site.
- Follow fault diagnosis and repair protocols.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with field engineers and cross-functional partners.
- Meet the five-minute issue-response target.
- Provide repair updates and coordinate handovers.
- Participate in on-call rotations across regions.
- Follow safety and compliance procedures.
- Identify operational challenges and improve field-engineering support.
