About the Role
You will lead the end-to-end development of a protocol: generate and refine ideas, validate business models through customer discovery, create business plans and KPIs, oversee product development and prototyping, coordinate launches and go-to-market activities, secure initial funding, build cross-functional teams, manage risk, and continuously evaluate performance to iterate.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing new technologies and bringing them to market
- Experience working with high-performing engineering teams
- Comfortable working remotely with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Track record contributing to the success of startups or small teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
- Passion for decentralized technologies
Responsibilities
- Drive all stages of protocol development from ideation through scale
- Identify market opportunities pain points and trends and translate them into protocol concepts
- Conduct customer discovery and validate business models
- Create comprehensive business plans including market research and financial projections
- Define clear milestones goals and KPIs for each phase
- Oversee product development prototyping and testing
- Coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with experts mentors advisors and partners
- Develop growth and funding strategies and pursue initial funding
- Work with cross-functional teams including designers developers and marketers to execute ideas
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans
- Regularly assess performance and make data-driven pivots
