About the Role

You will lead facilities operations projects from scope and planning through installation, commissioning, and handover. You will coordinate vendors, contractors, technicians, engineering, construction, and commissioning partners; manage schedules, costs, safety, risks, and reporting; and support reliable operation of campus systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience managing facilities operations or infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as operational needs require
  • Ability to provide assigned 24/7 on-call emergency support
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds

Responsibilities

  • Manage contractor, vendor, partner, and internal stakeholder relationships for the Southaven and Memphis sites
  • Lead facilities projects from scoping and planning through installation, commissioning, and operational handover
  • Develop and execute site improvement, retrofit, and activation projects involving mechanical, HVAC, electrical, compressed air, plumbing, and related systems
  • Coordinate vendors, trade partners, field teams, facilities personnel, engineers, and technical stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to quality, safety, schedule, and operational readiness
  • Resolve project roadblocks and maintain complex multi-phase timelines while minimizing operational disruption
  • Create project schedules and deliverables and align them with infrastructure goals
  • Partner with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to transition work into operations
  • Deliver KPI dashboards, reports, and project updates
  • Perform quantity take-offs, field verifications, and progress monitoring
  • Manage change orders and value-engineering solutions to control costs
  • Manage vendor and contractor finances with buyers and accounts payable
  • Lead site safety initiatives and stop unsafe work
  • Apply knowledge of facilities equipment to scope, sequence, and accept project work
  • Support cross-functional partners as needs evolve
