About the Role
You will help expand and lead Belvedere's presence in commodity derivatives markets, taking ownership of strategy development, pricing, and risk across commodity options products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience trading commodity options.
- Demonstrated success generating PnL and managing complex risk profiles.
- Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility dynamics, and commodity market structure.
- Proficiency with Python, R, or SQL and large datasets.
- Ability to make thoughtful decisions, thrive under pressure, and adapt quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical or quantitative field.
Responsibilities
- Lead market-making and execution across commodity options products.
- Own and refine trading strategies from ideation through execution.
- Identify trends and mispricings across commodities markets.
- Collaborate with technologists and quants to improve analytics, models, and trading workflows.
- Develop tools to analyze opportunities, evaluate risk, and improve options liquidity.
- Manage risk by monitoring exposures and adhering to the firm's risk philosophy.
- Work cross-functionally with research, technology, and trading teams to advance commodities options trading.
