About the Role
You will plan and execute VIP, special, third-party, and customer events. You will manage vendors, agendas, registration, invitations, branding, budgets, logistics, gifting, security clearances, and onsite event delivery. You will also use AI to automate and streamline event-planning workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of event-planning experience in a fast-paced and tech-forward environment
- Willingness to travel often and work extended hours, including weekends
- Ability to pass Air Force and NASA background checks for installation access
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute external events and customer experiences
- Source and manage venues, transportation, catering, audiovisual, and entertainment vendors
- Manage agendas, registration, invite lists, and executive customer communication
- Provide onsite event management
- Implement event branding, décor, activations, themes, and custom elements
- Manage supply ordering, budgets, payments, shipping, and inventory
- Use AI to automate and streamline event-planning processes
- Coordinate gifting and branded décor items
- Facilitate guest security clearances
