About the Role

You will design and run events from planning through execution, including logistics, vendors, budgets, and guest experience. You will shape and execute communications strategy, manage website, blog, and social updates, coordinate external contractors, and support operational projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to design and execute high-quality convenings end-to-end
  • Writing and editorial-direction skills
  • Experience directing communications work and managing external contracts
  • Experience building scalable systems, playbooks, vendor relationships, and budgets
  • Experience working closely with technical or research-driven people
  • Experience with AI tools

Responsibilities

  • Design and run events end-to-end
  • Build event playbooks, vendor relationships, budgets, and tooling
  • Develop events that support programming
  • Build community through events and informal gatherings
  • Shape and execute external communications strategy
  • Manage website, blog, and social communications
  • Run the external-facing calendar and production pipeline
  • Manage external contractors and consultants
  • Support event logistics, operations, and special projects
