About the Role
You will oversee the end-to-end production of i27, managing vendors, production timelines, budgets, floorplans, sponsor deliverables, stage builds, and venue logistics. You will coordinate internal stakeholders and production partners, identify risks and tradeoffs, and serve as the primary on-site production lead during load-in, show days, and load-out.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of event production experience
- Experience managing a conference with thousands of attendees
- Vendor management and on-site execution experience under tight timelines
- Experience managing an event floorplan and competing space needs
- Ability to manage overlapping timelines and track changes clearly
- Ability to ramp from part-time to full intensity as the event approaches
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel to San Francisco for site visits and on-site production, including load-in and load-out
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end production of i27, including vendor selection, timelines, budget, and on-site execution
- Manage the event floorplan and coordinate space needs across sponsors, staging, food and beverage, decor, and production
- Support sponsor deliverables by translating commitments into buildable scopes, timelines, and on-site activations
- Oversee stage builds and keep design and construction on schedule and on brand
- Coordinate venue logistics, including load-in, load-out, permitting, and preferred vendors
- Maintain real-time production timelines and vendor deliverables across parallel workstreams
- Surface risks early and propose tradeoffs
- Lead on-site production for load-in, show days, and load-out
- Communicate production status, risks, and required decisions to internal stakeholders
