About the Role
You will lead and directly manage a cross-functional team of 8–12 engineers. You will partner with a Product Manager, own delivery quality, stability, timelines, dependencies, technical excellence, and architecture. You will remain hands-on through design, coding, and coaching, while improving team performance, engineer wellbeing, and growth.
Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience building server-side applications
- Know Python, Java, C#, or a similar programming language
- Know a backend framework such as Spring or Spring Boot
- Have experience running microservices and implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Have experience building scalable, reliable cloud-native solutions
- Deliver secure, well-tested, and well-documented software
- Own code and technical solutions throughout their lifecycle from development to production
- Have experience integrating with third-party providers and partners
- Have experience with relational databases
- Work effectively in an agile environment
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Apply continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices
- Have experience leading teams and directly managing people
Responsibilities
