About the Role
You will lead and grow an engineering team responsible for multimodal API products, including real-time interactions and image generation. You will own product direction, work with research and product partners, guide architecture, and deliver robust products for audio, video, and image use cases.
Requirements
- Experience managing engineering teams that deliver complex products at scale
- Technical background in software engineering practices and system architecture
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with or interest in multimodal AI, speech technologies, real-time systems, and image generation
- Experience developing multimodal systems or APIs in AI or ML domains is preferred
- Familiarity with real-time streaming, audio processing, and computer vision is preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms and distributed architectures is preferred
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and grow an engineering team focused on multimodal API products
- Collaborate with product managers and designers on strategy and roadmap
- Work with research teams to improve multimodal models for API use cases
- Guide technical and architectural decisions for scalability, robustness, and user experience
- Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability
