About the Role
You will build and scale a hardware system-validation function. You will define and execute test and reliability processes, lead a multidisciplinary validation team, translate customer requirements into test specifications, and develop automated test pipelines for hardware validation.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of hardware system validation, testing, and reliability engineering experience
- 5+ years of cross-functional technical team leadership experience
- Product experience spanning consumer electronics and automotive, trucking, defense, construction, mining, or agriculture
- Expertise in hardware test requirements, environmental reliability testing, and HIL validation setups
- Coding proficiency in Python, C++, or scripting languages for test automation, data analysis, and hardware control
Responsibilities
- Build and scale the hardware system-validation function
- Define, architect, and execute system test plans and reliability validation processes
- Hire and lead validation engineers across electrical, mechanical, automation, and systems disciplines
- Translate customer operational requirements into hardware validation test specifications
- Ensure hardware products meet electrical, mechanical, environmental, and system-level KPIs
- Develop automated test scripts and software pipelines
