About the Role
Lead a team building Adyen's Card Payments platform in NORAM, shape credit card payment strategy, guide scalable and resilient technical solutions, coach engineers, foster a high-performing culture, partner with product managers, and direct architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional engineering teams.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Experience leading and developing software engineering teams.
- Strong software engineering background in large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with Java or similar backend technologies.
- Experience building payment systems or working in the card payments ecosystem is desirable.
- Experience with authorization, routing, card schemes, or issuer and acquirer integrations.

- Author the NORAM credit card payments strategy.
- Balance product delivery with platform scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
- Lead and develop a diverse software engineering team.
