About the Role
You will oversee engineering operations and coordinate projects across the organization. You will act as a liaison between the CTO and engineers, provide technical guidance to project teams, troubleshoot and optimize engineering processes and onboarding, own and maintain developer documentation, contribute to product roadmap discussions, and write newsletters, blog posts, and release notes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Background as an engineer or in a cross-functional technical role such as technical product manager at an early-stage company
- Experience in customer-facing or stakeholder-facing roles
- Experience writing code professionally or as a side project
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure including networking, security, and automation
- Experience with Go
- Experience with NextJS
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with Chakra UI
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Git
- Experience developing applications in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and/or Go
- Experience managing or contributing to developer documentation is a bonus
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong product sense and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and autonomous
Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between management and engineers
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Troubleshoot engineering process issues
- Optimize onboarding for new team members
- Own and maintain developer documentation
- Partner on product roadmap discussions with leadership and customers
- Contribute to newsletters, blog posts, and release notes
