About the Role
You will lead a team of experienced SRE engineers and raise the standard of reliability in a blockchain infrastructure context. You will set engineering direction and create the conditions for good work, focusing on reliability as a discipline including SLOs, error budgets, and blameless postmortems. You will automate repetitive tasks and help engineers grow into larger responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience leading an SRE team or equivalent in a large scale infrastructure environment
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and large scale infrastructure
- Proven ability to define and manage SLOs and error budgets
- Experience with automation and building scalable systems
- Track record of mentoring engineers and developing talent
- Comfort with blockchain infrastructure and unusual territory
