About the Role

Lead architecture, delivery, reliability, APIs, mentoring, regional hiring support, and operational excellence for multi-region, multi-currency brokerage systems.

Requirements

Strong backend engineering experience with Go or equivalent and distributed systems at scale.
Staff-level impact with architecture ownership and cross-team technical leadership.
People leadership experience, including 1:1s, performance management, and delivery.
Financial services, fintech, or brokerage experience with trading lifecycle, settlements, and regulatory awareness.
Excellent English communication and comfort with regional and global stakeholders.
Singapore or APAC regulatory and market experience is a plus.
Microservices, Kubernetes, GCP or AWS, and event-driven design experience are a plus.
Open-source or community presence is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect and ship scalable brokerage systems.
Advance the platform for multi-region, multi-currency, and regulatory contexts.
Own API quality, performance, and operational readiness.
Lead, coach, and develop engineers in Singapore.
Partner with recruiting on regional hiring and interviews.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and engineering culture.
Act as a senior escalation for regional incidents.
Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Participate in on-call coverage.
Work with Product, Compliance, and local stakeholders.
Collaborate across US and regional engineering teams.
