About the Role
You will develop automated regression, integration, and system tests for autonomy software. You will build simulation-based test frameworks, test harnesses, and Python tools; diagnose software issues; execute test plans; maintain documentation; and integrate test coverage into CI/CD workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with no experience, or a PhD with no experience, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience in robotics, small UAS, or related hands-on engineering projects
- Analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
- US citizenship
Responsibilities
- Develop automated regression, integration, and system-level tests
- Identify, reproduce, and diagnose software issues
- Create and execute simulated-environment test plans
- Design and maintain simulation-based test frameworks
- Build Python tools for testing, data processing, and analysis
- Develop SIL, HIL, VIL, and simulation test harnesses
- Define testing methodologies, metrics, and performance benchmarks
- Support simulation infrastructure reliability and scale
- Maintain test documentation and traceability
- Integrate test coverage into CI/CD pipelines
