About the Role
You will oversee mission-critical infrastructure design and operations for offices and data centers across EMEA. You will manage MEP projects and budgets, assess operational readiness, improve maintenance and emergency-response procedures, apply AI-assisted design tools, and provide technical support for regional facilities.
Requirements
- Five to ten years of building engineering design management, facilities management, data center management, or related experience
- Knowledge of mission-critical cooling, power, mechanical, and fire suppression systems
- Familiarity with AI-driven MEP plugins or generative design workflows
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of Electrical and Arc Flash Safety under NFPA 70E
- Working familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, CAD or BIM platforms, and IWMS software
- Availability for travel, weekend work, and 24/7 emergency problems
Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering design and operation of mission-critical infrastructure systems
- Manage critical systems across EMEA
- Lead MEP design, construction, and operational budget management
- Ensure compliance with design standards, operating procedures, and emergency response protocols
- Use AI-assisted tools to develop and assess HVAC, piping, and lighting layouts
- Apply predictive AI simulations to evaluate energy use, equipment sizing, and system performance
- Manage site-based MEP and IT lifecycle management projects
- Assess infrastructure operational readiness
- Enhance preventive and predictive maintenance procedures
- Ensure continuous coverage and emergency response for infrastructure and IT equipment failures
- Provide remote technical support for EMEA facility operations
