About the Role
You will support live trading and risk systems during Asia hours, identify and resolve production issues, and escalate them when needed. You will develop and deploy strategy features, run retail-routing experiments, report findings, and work with traders and developers to improve system resilience and overnight coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience at a financial institution
- Strong experience with Python
- Experience working with large datasets in SQL
- Calmness under pressure in fast-moving, time-sensitive environments
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of accurate, high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility in time commitment
Responsibilities
- Monitor automated trading and risk infrastructure, resolve issues in real time, and escalate issues when needed
- Develop new strategy features and deploy code changes through the standard review process
- Design, run, and report on retail routing experiments
- Shape team priorities based on overnight observations and support the shift to 23/5 trading
- Partner with traders and developers across regions to strengthen system resilience
- Develop a hands-on understanding of risk systems, order flow, and market structure
