About the Role
You will support electromechanical solutions for avionics packaging, electrical interconnects, thermal management, and aircraft integration. You will create design documentation, assist with engineering analyses, define mechanical interfaces, investigate design issues, and support prototype, integration, environmental-test, and flight-test activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Understanding of mechanics, materials, heat transfer, and manufacturing processes
- Experience using CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA
- Ability to create or interpret engineering drawings and mechanical layouts
- Familiarity with electromechanical systems, circuit cards, connectors, wiring, and harness integration
- Basic understanding of structural or thermal analysis methods
- Problem-solving, documentation, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to complete defined engineering tasks with guidance
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced development environment
Responsibilities
- Support electromechanical design for avionics packaging and aircraft integration
- Create 3D models, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation
- Assist with structural, thermal, and modal analyses
- Define mechanical interfaces with electrical engineers
- Investigate design and manufacturing issues
- Support prototype builds, system integration, environmental testing, failure analysis, and flight-test readiness
- Follow engineering and configuration-control processes
