About the Role
You will own electrical system design for utility interconnects, substations, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and power distribution. You will serve as Engineer of Record, resolve field issues, perform power-system studies, and support commissioning and energization.
Requirements
- Active Professional Engineer license
- 7+ years designing electrical systems for data centers, industrial facilities, or mission-critical facilities
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and critical power systems
- Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
- Knowledge of N+1 and 2N redundancy topologies
- Experience working with utilities, equipment vendors, construction teams, and commissioning
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end electrical system design
- Serve as Engineer of Record for power-system studies
- Resolve field issues during construction
- Support commissioning and energization
- Review cost, constructability, redundancy, and third-party designs
